The Truth About Cats and Dogs in Black and White

Truth is just one person's reality. Here is mine in black and white (maybe some shades of gray). This blog has little to do with Cats or Dogs - just humourous sarcastic antics about my life or occasionally, someone else's. You know, intercepting volleyballs with my face, egg dropping, etc. The truth has seen some changes and in fluidity with change expect to see more artistic expressions posting up - so give your two cents worth!

Blue Poinsettias

Well well well, Judy may have lost her mind, and i don't mind saying, as she proclaims it often enough herself. As Judy's personal decorator (yes comes as no surprise to those of you that have seen my theme parties) I was commissioned to spread the christmas joy around the house. Well this year joy comes in shades of blue and silver! It began with the ribbon choice (which we changed again yesterday) a pretty blueish silver snowflake ribbon. Ok - blue and silver it is. Then some blue and pearl berry clusters. fairly benign. Then some white holly. Not bad. Then some pretty glass balls - blue and pearl - tastefull. Now we come to the blue poinsettia, half in jest, half thinking they could have potential, I suggested that the glittering, sparkling traditional flower of christmas in blue should be added to our basket. Now, for those of you don't know Judy - she is a red and green gal, gingerbread men, nutcrakers, toy trains, etc. I was surprised by lack of disdain for the sparkly non-traditional garb. Although she did decline holding the basket. Those of you disgusted by the fakeness of Old blue, I must inform, natural blue poinsettias (and by natural I mean genetically enhance but living nonetheless) have been grown in California. If you are skeptical - please feel free to swing by over the holidays to see the trimmings!

Nature Calls

Despite some adjustments to the catch phrase...what do you think?

I'm branching out on my own!

Do you see this?

This is my brother's jack 'o lantern. I'm ashamed to post mine! My poorly carved squash lacks any 3-dimensional illusions and certainly does not ooze wickedness. In fact, the only thing I can say about my pumpkin is that it was certainly all-hallowed on the eve - dry, yes I know.
