The Truth About Cats and Dogs in Black and White
Truth is just one person's reality. Here is mine in black and white (maybe some shades of gray). This blog has little to do with Cats or Dogs - just humourous sarcastic antics about my life or occasionally, someone else's. You know, intercepting volleyballs with my face, egg dropping, etc. The truth has seen some changes and in fluidity with change expect to see more artistic expressions posting up - so give your two cents worth!

When I was a little fella, I wanted to be Darth Vader. Every pic I drew or painted in pre-school was of Darth Vader. The Teachers called my parents, thinking there was something wrong with me because everything was black. :-)

I'm afraid of horses, my neighbor's horse ran over me when I was playing with thier kids on their farm. Didn't get hurt beyond a few bumps and scratches, my 8 year old pride was the only real casualty :-)

you were run over by a horse...forgive the healthy amount of skepticism.
And are all your star wars figurines still at da rents?

Well, the figures and vehicles are home, the little minis I have, including the ones you gave me for my bday 8-9 years ago are here, as are my DV mask/helmet and Lightsabre. As the folks come to visit, more of my stuff makes its way here. I think they want thier house back.

geeks.
I wanted to leave it at that but i can't. I do have the original trilogy, the only one worth anything. My brother had the death star...and I have been princess leigha for halloween...no not the gold bikini. And as all little girls that worship their big brother I got the female counterparts to all his action figures...Leia from the ESB, Teela, and Scarlett...oh where is my Snake Eyes?
Now I must continue getting ready for the prom...

Snake Eyes was my fav GI Joe, I had 4-5 of him. I had the comic books too. Never really got into He-Man or Transformers, I was a SW/GIJOE kinda kid.
Prom? Is it prom season?

What's this? Snake Eyes was a girl? The most coveted of all the Action Force (that's what they were called over here) figures was a woman?

The Snakes Eyes/Scarlett storyline was indeed tragic, the truth was Snake Eyes was horribly burned and disfigured in a fire, rescuing an unconcisous Scarlett. She did find that out later though...I gotta go home now and look through the old box-o-comics.
And yes in the UK it is called Action Force, my cousins over there used to send me the UK comic books too.

Thank God for that, for a second there I thought there was some revelation that I didn't hear about where Snake Eyes was in fact a woman! Snake Eyes was my hero as a kid and one of those toys that I always wanted but never seemed to get. I didn't read the comics but many of the other kids on my street and at school used to, and everyone was into Action Force, but until reading it on here I had completely forgotten about it.
